Gavin at 35 weeks!

I had another ultrasound yesterday - they are guessing him to currently 5 lbs 7 oz, which is right on track for how far along I am. He is definitely getting squished in my tummy!

My Baby Shower

My baby shower was on August 9th - it was so much fun and so great to see everyone. I was so overwhelmed with all of the amazing gifts I received - Gavin is definitely going to be one wanted and loved little boy! Here are some pictures...

I'm a Great Aunt...again!

My niece Sarah had her baby girl Liliana Morgan Slater on August 12th, 6:20 pm ~ 6lbs 12oz and 19.5" long. I was lucky enough to be in the room with her and witness the entire thing and it was the most beautiful thing ever. Sarah was so strong through it all! I am praying that I can be half as strong as her when it's my time to give birth! Congratulations to Todd & Sarah - you two will be fantastic parents!

Quick update...

I had my weekly ultrasound and non-stress test today. Everything looked great and Gavin is still progressing normally and is right on track for where he should be. The non-stress test took a little longer than usual today - he was being a lazy baby and didn't want to move around and his heart rate was low...probably because he was sleeping! So they had me drink some water and finally towards the end he started to move around and his heart rate went up. Next week during the ultrasound they will try and get another estimate on his weight and length...or in my Doctor's words "How chunky baby is!" ~ at this point, he should be at least 5 lbs so I'm anxious to see how big they think he is! Only 5 weeks until my due date! I am getting so anxious!
