Gavin's favorite cartoon is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse - at the end of every episode all of the characters sing the "Hot Dog Song" - and Gavin lights up and gets so excited when he hears the music! He starts dancing and singing along - check out this adorable video from this morning. It sounds like he's even trying to say hot dog! He is so stinkin' cute!
We went on a quick trip to Spokane this weekend because our best friends Anthony & Ashley were both graduating from EWU. We stayed at my Sarah & Todd's house so it was fun watching the kids play together! We got there around 6 on Friday night and then came home around 6 on Saturday night. It was fast trip packed full of things to do, but we had fun! Gavin was definitely ready for his own crib when we got home, I put him to bed at 7:30 and it's now 7:30 am and he's still sleeping! Wow, can't believe he will be 9 months old next week. He is becoming such a little boy - and not so much of a baby anymore! He has accomplished pulling himself up and loves to stand. He gets brave and lets go and tries to walk but just falls over. He is SO busy all the time - he loves getting into things he knows he's not supposed to! We have his 9 month check up with his pediatrician next week, can't wait to see how much he weighs now. Here are a couple of pictures from last night -
